Shaza Loutfi is a third-year student at Harvard Law School, where she has been involved with the International Law Journal, International Refugee Assistance Project (IRAP), and the Jessup Moot Court Competition (modeled on the International Court of Justice). She has worked on cases with the International Criminal Court and European Court of Human Rights as an intern for the European Center for Constitutional and Human Rights.
Prior to law school, she worked in the humanitarian and development field in Turkey, Iraq, and Syria, serving the UNDP, IOM, UNFPA, UNOCHA, UNICEF, the US Institute of Peace (USIP), and more. She holds a Masters in Urban Planning and Policy from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a Bachelors of Arts in Political Science and French from DePaul University.
