Rosie works in the field of armed conflict mediation at the Centre for Humanitarian Dialogue, Geneva. She is also currently pursuing a fellowship in nuclear risk mitigation. Previously, she worked on human rights and victims’ justice issues in Sudan and India, and on private discrimination claims. She holds a Master’s degree in International Criminal Law from the University of Amsterdam and Columbia University in the City of New York, specialising in sexual and gender-based violence and international humanitarian law; a Bachelor of Laws with First Class Honours; and a Diploma of Language in French from the University of Otago. Prior to this, she was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor and practiced as a corporate lawyer in New Zealand, worked as a refugee advocate, and interned at the Extraordinary Chambers of the Courts of Cambodia in Phnom Penh. She remains a Correspondent for Human Rights Pulse, and in 2020 was the recipient of two awards in disarmament and international law.
